Table Top Games My Non-Gamer Girlfriend Likes to Play

Hey there everyone! Today’s post will be my girlfriends Top 10 tabletop games that she likes to play. A little bit about her is that she has no idea about DnD and is obsessed with BTS. She doesn’t play games very much, but here are her favorite ones she always asks to play:

Tokenoko

The players take the role of courtesans of the Nippon emperor. They take care of his Giant Panda by growing a bamboo plantation. Their mission: to farm parcels of land, irrigate them, and have green, yellow or pink bamboo grow. In turn, they see what the weather brings and perform two actions from among those offered to them: get a new plot of land or irrigation channel, grow bamboo, feed the panda or draw an objective card. The game ends when a player has completed 7 to 9 objectives (depending on the number of players). The player who gets the best score by adding the total value of their completed objective wins the game.

Terror In Meeple City

From the Manufacturer In the game of Terror In Meeple City players each control one of the four monsters and their objective is to cause the most damage to the city while eating the Meeple citizens. Each turn consists of choosing two actions to complete. These actions include: Movement, Attack a Building, Hurl a truck, or Monster Breath. Eating Meeples does not take an action, however, players are limited each turn by the number of teeth their monster has remaining. The game ends when the buildings are destroyed. Buildings, Meeples eaten and the Other Monster's Teeth are worth points. To be victorious, players will need to use a combination of dexterity, planning and luck.

Secret Hitler

Secret Hitler is a dramatic game of political intrigue and betrayal set in 1930's Germany. Players are secretly divided into two teams - liberals and fascists. Known only to each other, the fascists coordinate to sow distrust and install their cold-blooded leader. The liberals must find and stop the Secret Hitler before it’s too late.
Each round, players elect a President and a Chancellor who will work together to enact a law from a random deck. If the government passes a fascist law, players must try to figure out if they were betrayed or simply unlucky. Secret Hitler also features government powers that come into play as fascism advances. The fascists will use those powers to create chaos unless liberals can pull the nation back from the brink of war.

The Captain Is Dead

The Captain is dead is a frantic and fun cooperative board Game that puts you and your friends in the role of crew members on a besieged starship. You must work together to repair critical systems and fend off hostile aliens, or you will share the captain's fate. From the Chief engineer, weapons officer, and visiting Admiral, all the way down to the Ensign and the ship's janitor, you must combine your unique talents to avoid utter Annihilation in the cold depths of space!
